when i insert md.OCR(MODI.MiLANGUAGES.miLANG_GREEK, true, true);
appears ocr bad language.
I want to run this example for greek language what i have to do? please help?

The MODI Library works great when my .BMP or .TIF has large enough dimensions. But if i execute the Document.OCR method on a smaller image (such as the field on a drivers license) i just get the exception ocr running error. Not sure what do do. Resize the image first? sometimes i get error if only 1 word is on image.

according to my knowledge the MODI Library works only with MS office. if any one has a way to run it on a system where MS office is not installed kindly do post the solution here.

Hi am using MODI in my application it works fine in the local machine, but when i create the exe file and installed in another machine in that machine MS office is not installed, i think u got the same problem how did u over come dis problem , please could you help me.

Hassan Bhai,
I just want to read English characters of an image containing english letters

In your code what is abc.bmp?
is it has to be created first and should contain english letters?

Any way i did first placed an abc.bmp in c: drive. Then when i run my
code then i get some errors:
“The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0×80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))”

I dont know what to do. Please advice me.

Hi,
I used modi. .
Better than gocr, adobe, abby, pegasus..etc.
I tested all of them..
I think MODI is the best ocr that exists.

But

I have 2 problems to solve in modi.
1) Modi is almost perfect in black font in a white background text image, but if the font is in different color than black and the backgorund is different than white, then results are not perfect. I used grayscale but it doesnt help much. Is there a setting for colored text images in modi or a way to solve this problem?

2) When i create the exe file with .net editor and try to install another computer this exe file. It doesnot work if the target pc doesnot have office 2007 with modi. Is there a way to install the dll registery or in a folder so it will wrok in a pc not having office 2007.

Any advice is apriciated..
