My name is Hassan Zaheer. I have done Masters in Computer science. I am in the field of computer science for last nine years and I have six years of Professional experience. Computer Science is my passion and I also love what I have done. I have craze of exploring and working on new technologies. Bellow is my brief summary of my journey and achievements

Team Lead. (Ciber Strategies International (www.ciberstrategies.com))

Currently working in “Ciber Strategies (International)” as Team Lead since August, 2008. During my stay at Ciber Strategies I have worked on the following technologies ASP.net, Ajax, SQL Server (2005), CSS, Java Script, HTML, XML, XSLT. My Responsibilities are Design, Development the web based solution and coordinate with QA department.

 

Software Engineer. (Folio3 (Private) Limited(www.folio3.com))

 I have worked in “Folio3 (Private) Limited” as Software Engineer since October, 2006 to July, 2008 (22 months). During my stay at folio3 I have worked on the following technologies ASP.net, ASP, Ajax, SQL Server (2000, 2005), CSS, Java Script, HTML, XML, XSLT Crystal Reports and Dot Net Nuke (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/). My Responsibilities are Design, Development the web based solution and coordinate with QA department.

I have worked in “Matrix Systems (Private) Limited” as Software Engineer from July 2006 to October, 2006. My Duties here are to maintain, Design and Look after the Software products of the company. My working area here is VB6, SQL Server 2000 and Crystal Reports.

 

Computer Programmer/IT Manager. (ICC Pvt Limited)

I have worked in “ICC Pvt (Ltd.)” as Computer Programmer from June 2005 to June 2006(13 months). My Duties here are to maintain, Design and Look after the Network & Software needs of the company. ICC is an ISO certified Company and is the part of ICC Group. ICC is basically a Project Management Company involved in construction of Grid Station, Transmission Lines, thermal power plants etc.

 

Computer Programmer. (ICC Soft)

 I have worked in “ICCSoft” as a Computer Programmer from June 2003 to May 2005 (2 years). I have worked here on VB6, ASP, PHP, and java as front end and SqlServer, Mysql and oracle as backend. Most of my projects are ERP applications. My Duties here are Development and coordinate with design department. ICC Soft is an ISO certified Software House.

 

Projects During Work:

 

1. Project: Banner Ad Tracking System.

Client: HDF (www.hdf.com)

Environment: Dot net Nuke, C #, ASP.net 2.0, SQL server 2005

Role: Team Lead

Description:

The Banner Ad Tracking system developed for Human Development Foundation (USA). The main feature of this system to Track full details about the Banner Ads displayed on different web sites. Tracking include no of clicks, no of times the ad is displayed on the specific web site, No of donations made by the users etc. This project is just like an Ad Management System.

 

2. Project: HDF web Site.

Client: HDF (www.hdf.com)

Environment: ASP, Access, Pay Flow Pro

Role: Team Lead

Description:

We are providing maintenance services to the Human Development Foundation for their old ASP site. We have added many new features to their current site meanwhile their new site is deployed at test server.

Environment: DNN, C #, ASP.net 2.0, Pay Flow Pro, SQL server 2005

Role: Team Lead

Description:

Human development Foundation (www.hdf.com) is an NGO in USA which is running by Pakistani Americans, they came to folio3 to rebuild their site using some CMS. After discussing it with client We decide it to develop it using Dot Net Nuke (DNN). The basic purpose of this rebuilt was that the client want more control on their web site they want to full control on the site so that they can add new pages to site , change content of the pages etc. This site fulfills their requirement. This site also provides the facility of Online Payment (pay flow Pro). The project is completed and it is deployed on the above URL for clients testing and training.

 

4. Project: Coupon System

Client: MOI (www.roommateclick.com)

Environment: C #, ASP.net 2.0

Role: Developer + part of Design

Description:

At Folio3 we developed a Coupon system for our UK client Move ON IN (MOI). This is basically a web-application that provides the opportunity to the administrator to create different promotion schemes and send automated emails containing the promotion code to the desired clients.

 

5. Project: Inventory Management System

Client: Brilliant Earth (www.brilliantearth.com)

Environment: C #, Visual Studio .net 2005

Role: Team Lead

Description:

Brilliant Earth is a Canada based company who sells online diamonds. They require an Inventory system because their suppliers provides them data in different formats and they are facing difficulties to manually synchronize this data in their main diamond selling web application . So we developed this Inventory Management system using C#. The system fulfills their requirement. It take data in different format as input like excel sheets and PDF documents and create and excel file according to the specification which is easily uploaded in the main application.

 

6. Project: Website

Client: MOI (www.roommateclick.com)

Environment: ASP, Asp.Net, Crystal Reports, Visual Studio .net 2005

Role: Developer + part of Design

Description:

Developed a web site for our UK client MOI (Move On In). This is basically a web site related to roommate search. It has two types of users one who has room to share and other who wants the room. The site has different exciting facilities like email hotlist and searching. It has an admin module also.

 

7. Project: eQueue Reporting Software

Client: Wavetech Private Limited (www.wavetec.com )

Environment: Visual Basic 6, Crystal Report 9

Role: Team Lead + part of Design

Description:

Folio3 outsourced software for Wavetech Private limited. They require an reporting software which should integrate with their product Queue Management System, which is installed at many banks and organizations for queue management. It receives data from their current system parse it and populate database and generate vast variety of reports which are helpful for the management. This software is widely used in Banks for queue management and it provides management a lot of informative reports. Project includes extensive use of Crystal report, Graphs, Cross tab reports Visual Basic and SQL server 2000.

 

8. Project: Student Info & Billing (EMS)

Client: Karachi Grammar School (KGS)

Environment: Visual Basic 6 + Crystal Reports, SQL Server 2000

Role: Developer

Description:

Matrix System private limited has developed a software product Student info and billing which is initially built as software for Karachi Grammar School (KGS) but later on changed in software product of the company which is currently running in Yaqeen Model High School, KGS, and other schools. The project is to computerize the whole schooling system it covers all activities relate to student like student admissions, student fee, student course registration, student examination result, student leave and student fine etc. It has very vast variety of informative reports.

 

9. Project: Bug Management System

Client: ICCSoft

Environment: MS Visual Basic 6, SQL Server 2000 + Seagate Crystal Report.

Role: Team Lead + Part of Design + Part of Data Base Design

Description:

ICCSoft required testing software for its testing department. This system controls the whole testing phase. It provides complete record keeping and history management of bugs. Security is also a main feature of that software. This product is developed using MS Visual Basic 6, MS SQL server 2000.

 

10. Project: EMS (Enterprise Management system)

Client: Headon Private Limited (www.headon.com.pk)

Environment: MS Visual Basic 6+ Crystal Reports, MY-SQL

Role: Developer + Part of Design

Description:

ICCSoft is building an Enterprise Application for Headon. This is an ERP solution. Different modules like account, sale, purchase, HR, warranty and Store are complete and deployed to the customer. It also has very vast variety of reports.

 

11. Project: Project Management and Costing

Client: ICC Pvt Limited (www.iccpvt.com)

Environment: Visual Basic 6, Seagate Crystal Report 9

Role: Team Lead + part of Design

Description:

ICCSoft has built software for its parent company ICC Pvt. The software provides complete Project Management. ICC is basically a Construction Company and their primary business is construction of Transmission Lines. The software provides help in all the phases of planning, Costing and monitoring the project.

 

12. Project: Wedding Stages (Web Site)

Client: UK

Environment: PHP, Linux, Apache Web server

Role: Developer

Description:

ICCSoft has built a web site for its UK client. PHP is used as server side language. I worked as a PHP developer in that project. This Web site is developed using Flash MX and PHP.
